The trademark of a great choir is its ability to present an a capella concert, highlighting features such as impeccable sound, blend, intonation and musical perfection. There is nothing holding it together except the excellence of the ensemble itself. The exquisite Miserere by Allegri, coupled with choral gems by Blow, Bruckner, Rachmaninoff and Liszt will make for an afternoon of sublime choral sound. Special guest Mary Katherine Finch will elevate the performance to yet another level in a performance of Bach's Suite in G Major for solo cello.
