The Passion According to St. Matthew

Approximately 24 years ago, the GBC began offering concerts to eager Georgetown audiences. It was with J.S. Bach’s monumental St. Matthew Passion that we offered our debut performance – no small feat! This coming Good Friday, classical music lovers will again have the privilege to hear what scholars deem to be Bach’s greatest work complete with soloists, period instruments, Evangelist and double choir – an evening to reflect on the drama and darkness of Christ’s crucifixion.
